Publishing behemoth Activision has issued an apology for a Name of Responsibility canine pores and skin following accusations of plagiarism have been levelled on the firm.

Saying the pores and skin was a “misstep” the writer has now eliminated all references and imagery from the pores and skin from Name of Responsibility Warzone, though it didn’t outright to plagiarising the content material itself. In case you missed it, the canine pores and skin was clearly ripped off from the works of artist Sail Lin, who was fast to level out the similarities on Twitter on the time.

Lin has stated that he hasn’t been provided an apology by Activision, with the writer as a substitute issuing an announcement to Polygon versus the artist. Understandably, Lin isn’t proud of this:

My demand is that the official media of Activision formally apologize and clarify the state of affairs to me, not a perfunctory rationalization. They have been as boastful as ever, and I used to be upset.
