In 2001 there was a restricted manufacturing run of Dev bins produced for indie builders on the home windows CE platform (OG Xbox runs a modified model of Home windows CE). It was marketed for very small indie builders. Suppose solo ventures as a substitute of small groups.
Rumor has it they have been comparatively cheap in comparison with full dev models too.
With a purpose to facilitate these small devs, who probably have been nonetheless at house doing weekend coding within the storage or basement and so on, Xbox collaborated with Sony since they have been courting them for cross save even then, thus the fusion of blue AND inexperienced.
These particular dev models have been named P.SXboxes and are famous on the underside with a press release of encouragement like your mother would.
