When asked by a fan on Twitter if it’s possible to unlock them via game progression, the Insomniac Games Twitter account replied, “No. They’re exclusive to the DDE.”
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will feature both Peter Parker and Miles Morales fully playable in the game, with players able to switch between them at any time. While some people have been curious about the prospect of co-op, Insomniac Games said that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was always planned as a single-player game.

Elsewhere, the studio revealed that New York City is roughly twice as big as the original Marvel’s Spider-Man, with more areas to explore in the sequel.
