Konami has clarified the confusion surrounding Steel Gear Stable: Grasp Assortment‘s decision on all platforms following yesterday’s reviews that MGS 2 and three will goal 720p. The confusion stemmed from a latest preview occasion for the Nintendo Swap.
In accordance with IGN, Konami initially stated on the preview occasion that it’s dedicated to 100% authenticity for video games included in MGS: Grasp Assortment Vol. 1, together with their respective resolutions. Nintendo Life confirmed as a lot, and claimed that it individually reached out to a Konami consultant for clarification, and was instructed that MGS 2 and three will goal 720p to match the 2012 HD Assortment. The corporate has now denied that that is the case.
The Grasp Assortment will goal 1080p / 60 FPS on all platforms aside from the Swap. On the hand held particularly, the video games will goal 1080p / 30 FPS in docked mode and 720p / 30 FPS in handheld mode.
It’s unclear if Konami misunderstood Nintendo Life’s query or if it merely assumed that the publication was solely asking in regards to the handheld. Nonetheless, even Swap is getting the 1080p remedy so long as it’s in docked mode.
MG: Grasp Assortment Vol. 1 will launch on October 24.
