People of GamePireNews

Four People. One Standard.
Play It Before You Write It.

We are a small team. Nobody here writes about a game they haven't played. Every guide, tier list, and review goes through someone who has genuine hours in what they're covering.

Why We Tell You Who We Are

Most gaming guide sites are anonymous. There is a reason — when nobody knows who wrote the content, nobody can be held accountable when it is wrong or outdated.

Every article on GamePireNews has a named author. That person is a real member of this team with a real gaming background. If a guide doesn't reflect how the game actually works, you know exactly whose name is attached — and you can tell us directly so we can fix it.

Meet Everyone

The GamePireNews Team

Everyone listed here writes, edits, or reviews content before it goes on the site. No one is listed just for show.

Marcus Reid, Founder of GamePireNews
Founder

Marcus Reid

Founder & Lead Writer

Marcus has been playing Roblox games seriously since 2018 and built GamePireNews after getting frustrated with guides clearly written by people who had never opened the games they were covering. He oversees all published content, handles site development, and still personally writes guides for games he knows best.

Before starting GamePireNews, Marcus ran a private Discord where he kept detailed notes on Roblox mechanics because the public guides were either wrong or years out of date. Those notes became the foundation for this site. He covers Roblox game guides and site management, and reviews everything before it goes live.

Aisha Powell, Gaming Writer at GamePireNews

Aisha Powell

Gaming Writer & Tier List Editor

Aisha covers tier lists and character guides for Roblox games she plays competitively. She does not publish a tier list based on community opinion alone — she runs the characters, tests the builds, and ranks from her own experience. Her guides go deeper than most because she actually finished what she writes about.

Aisha started writing about games during university as a hobby and developed a structured approach to evaluating games properly before writing about them. She specialises in games with complex progression and character systems, and her tier lists are the ones readers come back to after patches because they get updated when something actually changes.

Daniel Cross, Tech Writer at GamePireNews

Daniel Cross

Tech Writer & PC Specialist

Daniel built his first gaming PC at fifteen and has been helping people configure setups ever since. He handles all hardware reviews, tech guides, and buying recommendations on the site. Nothing gets published under his name without hands-on testing time — he does not write from spec sheets.

Daniel spent several years doing informal PC builds and hardware consulting before joining GamePireNews. His particular focus is value-for-money hardware for players who are not working with unlimited budgets — the kind of practical advice that most tech sites skip in favour of premium recommendations.

Priya Nair, Content Editor at GamePireNews

Priya Nair

Content Editor & Guide Researcher

Priya reviews every guide before it goes live, checking it against her own in-game experience and making sure nothing reads like it was written by someone who skimmed a wiki. She also handles reader feedback and flags content that needs updating after significant patches.

Priya applies a background in structured content review to gaming guides. She catches the things writers miss — steps that assume too much knowledge, rankings that don't match current patches, advice that works on paper but breaks in practice. Her editing is the reason GamePireNews guides read differently from most others.

How We Decide What Gets Published

For game guides, the writer has put genuine time into the game before they touch the keyboard. For tier lists, rankings come from actual gameplay rather than consensus from other sites. For reviews, the product has been used beyond a first impression. We do not publish on a quota — we publish when something is worth publishing.
