Marcus has been playing Roblox games seriously since 2018 and started GamePireNews in 2024 after spending too many evenings looking up guides that were either six months out of date or clearly written by someone who had never touched the game. He handles site development, oversees all published content, and still writes the guides for games he knows inside out.
About Marcus
Before GamePireNews existed, Marcus was active in several Roblox gaming communities and kept running into the same issue. Someone would share a guide, members would follow it, and half the information was either outdated or flat-out wrong because the person who wrote it had never actually played past the first few hours. He started keeping his own detailed notes on games he played regularly because the public guides weren't good enough. Those notes became the foundation of this site.
When he launched GamePireNews in 2024, he didn't look for content writers. He looked for players. Everyone on the team was already deep in a specific area of gaming, someone who could write from genuine experience rather than research. That's the difference that shows in the content here compared to what most gaming guide sites produce.
Marcus handles the technical side of the site himself, having worked in web development for several years before starting GamePireNews. He still writes guides personally for the Roblox games he plays most, and reviews every piece of content before it goes live. If a guide doesn't accurately reflect how the game actually works right now, it doesn't get published. That standard has been in place since the site launched and hasn't changed.
